OTC Team Rider Finn Knight Finishes the UK Season on a High!

The Official Test Centre (OTC) Team Rider Finn Knight has rounded off his UK racing season in style, securing an excellent second place at the final UKWA event of the season, held at the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy (WPNSA) on 10–11 October 2026.

The event brought a challenging mix of conditions, with tricky racing in the harbour on Saturday followed by a frustrating lack of wind on Sunday. Racing was incredibly tight at the front of the fleet, making Finn’s second-place finish a fantastic achievement and a brilliant way to close out the UK season.
At just 17 years old, Finn has already gained valuable experience competing at the highest level. In September, he took on the challenge of the iQFOiL Senior World Championships in his hometown of Weymouth. Competing against some of the world’s best senior athletes, the event proved to be the most demanding of Finn’s racing career so far. However, he embraced the experience, taking away valuable lessons and further motivation for the journey ahead.

Next up, Finn travels to Athens this month for his final iQFOiL Youth event before ageing out of the youth category. He is excited to take this next step, transitioning onto senior equipment and looking ahead to a new chapter in his racing career.
Despite his impressive achievements, Finn remains humble and incredibly grateful for the support he has received throughout his journey. From the OTC team and his sponsors to his coaches and family, he recognises the invaluable role they have all played in supporting his development and helping him pursue his ambitions in the sport.

Everyone at The OTC is incredibly proud of Finn’s progress and determination. We wish him the very best of luck in Athens and look forward to following his journey as he takes on the next challenge in his iQFOiL career.
Good luck, Finn — we’re all behind you!
