Pas de vent at Le Defi 2025!

Le Defi is over for another year. The wind was a no show for a second year running for the fin event, The Official Test Centre Pro-Rider Scotty Stallman was at the iconic event. The takeaway from the legendary competition is the opportunity for those taking part to be with like minded windsurfing enthusiasts, most enjoyed training sessions before the event and all came away with the Defi smile, may the wind be kind next year! Pas de vent at Le Defi 2025!

Unfortunately no racing during the event, did you go out winging?

The OTC Pro-Rider Scotty Stallman said: "Some really enjoyable moments at Le Defi. Unfortunately the wind didn't play ball for the Windsurf side of things but the Wing was absolutely epic! Some really fun and exciting races with the new GA Jet 4.5 - it’s a weapon and looking forward to getting dialled into it as the summer goes on!"

Marti Jerrard part of The Official Test Centre family was also at the epic event, he said: "And so, Le Defi is over for another year. The wind for a second time didn't show for the fin event, but I did get four awesome days training on the water prior to which was so desperately needed. On the plus side we got the opportunity to be with like min ded windsurfing enthusiasts and go to see and visit a lot more of the wonderful town of Gruissan, see you in 2026."

Le Defi Wind is the world's biggest windsurfing event.

Gaastra Windsurfing and Tabou Boards, said: "Le Defi 2025, we had an unforgettable time, the wind didn't play along, but that couldn't stop us from having the best time together with so many enthusiastic and motivated windsufers. Thanks to everyone, who joined us at our stand, at the stage and at the parties! We are counting the days until next year's event already.
