Scott Norman takes Gold Fleet victory
Scott Norman secured first place against a highly competitive Gold Fleet after competing in varied conditions. Reflecting on the event, he said:
“Another speed week done! Nice couple of days with some different conditions, stoked to have taken 1st place in gold fleet against a super competitive fleet!
Massive thanks to Weymouth Speed Week event crew for putting on a great event with some great pics, The Official Test Centre (OTC) and SportBU for the support!
Pro fleet next year… let’s have it!”
The result gives Scott plenty to celebrate, with his sights now set on the Pro Fleet next year.

Scotty Stallman claims the overall title
Arriving straight back from Sylt, Scotty Stallman was only able to compete on the final day of Weymouth Speed Week. He made that opportunity count, recording a 35.85-knot 500m run in challenging conditions to clinch the overall title.
Scotty said:
“Weymouth Speed Week Overall Champion
Straight back from Sylt and into WSW! Unfortunately with the timing of the two events, I was only able to compete on the final day but luckily it was the windy one!
I hadn’t been on the fin gear since Fuerteventura in July, so I was a little rusty for most of the day. But managed to clinch the overall title with a 35.85-knot 500m run in some pretty challenging conditions.
Kit used:
Manta 64 + Vapor 5.7/6.7 + F-Hot RWS2 32cm
Massive thanks to Dad (watershots_uk) for grabbing a quick photo while out on the boat and to Jim (Jim Crossley) for the video. Stoked to see you up on the windsurfing podium Jim!
Now it’s back to work on the foil, getting ready for the next event in Japan!”

Results and next year’s event
Well done to Scott and Scotty, and to everyone who took part in Weymouth Speed Week 2026.
Weymouth Speed Week returns in 2027, starting on 9 October.
