We're pleased to announce that we have the green light to re-open on Wednesday 2nd December. We'll be following the guidelines provided, and here are some relevant snippets from the Academy's recent press release:
Full access will be restored via gate keypads and reactivated cards. We do ask that all those attending the site register with track and trace using the QR codes located at all entrances.
Members will be able to access their boats and equipment and launch from the slipways.
Day launches are also available; please apply from the WPNSA website link here, prior to arrival on site.
We will resume some of our catering activity, although this will vary between weekday and weekends. Our aim is to open the cafeteria service from the usual location on a Monday to Friday basis. Over the weekends we are hosting events, all catering will be served from the event hall and the upstairs cafeteria will be closed. A similar menu to that offered prior to this second lockdown period will be available.
The main car park will reopen and to prevent congestion, we ask that all visitors use this facility once they have unloaded their vehicles. Vehicles should not be left in the dinghy parking areas.
We will continue to keep the changing facilities closed and the main toilets will be accessible during the hours of 9am – 5pm. If we have campervans booked in overnight, then the toilets will remain open 24hrs a day. Apart from the Event Hall, when being used as a cafeteria, the rest of the building will remain closed. Please call the office or email Reception (01305 866000 or email reception@wpnsa.org.uk) if you require assistance whilst on site or wish to contact us regarding a general enquiry.
